Cyberpunk: Edgerunners

In Night City, where almost everything is for sale to those who can afford it, David Martinez struggles to remain at the prestigious Arasaka Academy because his mother works relentlessly for the future she wants him to have. One disaster shatters that life, leaving David without support or a clear place inside the system he was always told to succeed in.

He finds a military cybernetic implant called the Sandevistan that grants extraordinary speed and chooses to install it despite the danger. His new ability leads him to Lucy and a crew of edgerunners, mercenaries living outside the law and modifying their bodies to survive a city that devours the weak. David finally finds somewhere he belongs, but every upgrade brings him closer to the point where power begins to destroy both body and mind.
