After stopping Claw's world-threatening plan, Mob returns to a problem that feels harder than any battle: deciding what he wants from his own future. School asks him to choose a career path while he continues helping Reigen and Serizawa with paranormal cases and tries to become more independent in ordinary life. At the same time, a giant broccoli tree rises over the city and a new religion forms around the mysterious “Psycho Helmet,” turning people's desires and belief into a danger that cannot be ignored. As Mob moves closer to understanding his feelings for Tsubomi and for himself, new challenges force him to confront a side he has suppressed for years.
