UQ Holder! Mahou Sensei Negima! 2

Ten years after magic became public knowledge, Touta Konoe lives far from the transformed world in a quiet rural town. He dreams of reaching the capital and the enormous tower that rises toward space, but first he is determined to defeat Yukihime, the formidable woman who raised him.

That simple ambition collapses when a bounty hunter attacks and Touta suffers a mortal wound. Yukihime reveals that she is an immortal vampire and saves him by making him immortal as well. Leaving the village behind, Touta enters a hidden society of immortals known as UQ Holder, where his new life brings powerful allies, dangerous enemies, and secrets tied to his own past.
