Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san Movie

Takagi and Nishikata enter their final summer of junior high with the same familiar game between them: she teases, he plots revenge, and somehow he ends up blushing first. The season changes when they find an abandoned kitten and decide to care for her together until they can find her mother or a permanent home. Naming her Hana gives the pair a small responsibility that cannot be reduced to one of their usual contests. As they spend more time side by side, Nishikata becomes increasingly aware that the moments he wants to win against Takagi are also the moments he does not want to end. Their last junior-high summer quietly pushes a long-running friendship toward feelings neither of them can treat as a joke forever.
