Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san

Nishikata sits beside Takagi in class, which means no ordinary school day stays ordinary for long. Takagi has made teasing him a personal art: she knows his habits, predicts his reactions, and can turn almost any conversation into a trap that leaves him embarrassed. Nishikata refuses to surrender. He constantly invents games and tricks meant to make Takagi blush first, only to discover that she has usually understood his plan before he begins. Their daily contest looks one-sided, but Takagi's attention is unusually focused on him, and some of her jokes carry feelings he is too busy planning revenge to notice. Nishikata wants nothing more than one clean victory; Takagi may be playing for something entirely different.
