Bartender: Kami no Glass

Miwa Kurushima is searching for an exceptional bartender who can work at Hotel Cardinal and create the drink its chairman calls the “Glass of God.” Her search leads to Ryuu Sasakura, a quiet bartender in Ginza who seems able to understand what a customer needs before the customer can put it into words.

For Ryuu, the perfect drink is neither a fixed recipe nor a display of technical skill. Every person sitting across from him carries fatigue, regret, or a decision they cannot resolve, and he chooses a glass suited to that moment. As different customers pass through his bar, the meaning of the “Glass of God” becomes less about a legendary cocktail and more about a bartender's ability to give a stranger exactly enough space to move forward.
