Megumi no Daigo: Kyuukoku no Orange

Daigo Toake, Shun Onoda, and Yuki Nakamura train at the Tokyo Fire Department academy, where physical strength alone is never enough. They must make decisions under pressure, function as a team, and accept that one small mistake can cost a life.

Daigo's natural ability inspires both jealousy and admiration in Shun, while Yuki works to prove herself in an unforgiving environment. After graduation, rivalry and drills give way to real fires, collapses, and disasters, teaching all three that rescue work does not always create uncomplicated heroes; sometimes it leaves survivors and firefighters with questions that have no easy answer. As signs of a larger catastrophe emerge, the bonds built during training become part of what allows them to keep saving people.
