Planetarian: Hoshi no Hito

Long after war has devastated civilization, a scavenger known only as the Junker enters an abandoned city looking for anything worth salvaging. Instead, he finds Yumemi Hoshino, a service robot still waiting faithfully inside a rooftop planetarium. Her promise to show him the stars seems absurd in a world where even the sky has been hidden for years, yet he agrees to help repair the broken projector.

That brief encounter survives far beyond the ruined city. In a later age, an old man known as the Storyteller of the Stars carries the memory of Yumemi and her planetarium into a frozen world where knowledge of the heavens is disappearing. What began as one practical repair becomes a fragile inheritance, passed from one generation to the next as proof that humanity once looked upward and dreamed.
