Planetarian: Snow Globe

Thirty years before a ruined world leaves Yumemi Hoshino waiting alone in a deserted planetarium, she is a newly assigned companion robot working beside a small human staff in a peaceful department store. Earnest to a fault, Yumemi treats every duty with literal enthusiasm and an endless desire to please visitors.

One day she begins leaving her post without permission, baffling her coworkers. Their attempt to understand the normally obedient robot reveals a gentle reason behind her unusual behavior and captures the ordinary happiness that once filled the planetarium before the world changed forever.
