Hikari no Ou 2nd Season

Touko reaches the capital intending to return the belongings of the fire hunter who died protecting her, only to find the city collapsing into chaos as the Spiders launch their attack. Separated from Akira in the confusion, Touko is forced to keep moving with Kanata while the mysteries surrounding the Fire Hunters, the gods, and the coming man-made star draw ever closer.

At the same time, Koushi fights to defend the capital with weapons he helped develop, including a cannon capable of calling down devastating lightning. Its power attracts the attention of divine forces unwilling to let humanity cross certain boundaries. As human schemes and godly designs begin to overlap, Touko and Koushi are pulled toward a confrontation that could decide what kind of world survives.
