Yoru wa Mijikashi Arukeyo Otome

During one impossibly long night in Kyoto, a college student follows the black-haired underclassman he has secretly admired for years. His usual strategy is to engineer repeated "chance" meetings until she finally notices him, but she wanders through the city with complete faith that whatever she encounters is linked by fate.

Their paths twist through drinking contests, a second-hand book fair, eccentric strangers, and a guerrilla theater performance as the night seems to stretch beyond ordinary time. While he desperately tries to place himself in her path, she embraces every unexpected encounter, and the two are slowly drawn toward the possibility that their connection may not need to be forced at all.
