"Uchuu Senkan Yamato" to Iu Jidai: Seireki 2202-nen no Sentaku

Three years after Yamato returned from Iscandar and saved Earth, humanity has rebuilt with astonishing speed, including weapons more powerful than before. At the same time, a mysterious message from a distant world reaches former members of the Yamato crew while the expansionist Gatlantis Empire advances through space. Defying orders, the veterans reunite aboard Yamato to learn why they were summoned. Their journey places them against an enemy that treats conquest as natural, but it also forces Earth to face the question it avoided after receiving a second chance: will new power simply repeat old destruction, or can humanity finally choose a different future?
