Four princesses from the netherworld move to the human world in search of a new place to live: Uma, a cheerful witch in training; energetic werewolf Liru; vain vampire Pachira; and gentle android Aiko. Their greatest problem is that they understand almost nothing about ordinary human life, so even the simplest daily activity becomes an experiment that goes wrong.

Food, money, clothing, romance, and modern conveniences all become fresh challenges as the girls try to adapt without losing their supernatural personalities. Each possesses powers that would be impressive in another setting, yet none of them is especially useful against prices, dating, or basic misunderstandings. Their new life becomes a chain of small disasters proving that living like humans may be harder than any magic.
