Freezing

Humanity survives repeated attacks by alien beings known as Novas through genetically enhanced female fighters called Pandoras, who work with male partners known as Limiters. Kazuya Aoi enters the West Genetics military academy and meets Satellizer el Bridget, one of its strongest students and someone notorious for refusing to let anyone touch her.

Kazuya's first sight of Satellizer reminds him of his late sister, and he soon discovers that he possesses an unusually powerful Freezing ability that can support her in ways other Limiters cannot. Despite Satellizer's isolation and harsh reputation, the two begin forming a partnership unlike the academy's usual pairs. Rivalries and brutal training may dominate daily life, but all of it exists for a war in which a single Nova attack can erase everything.
