Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou

Akuto Sai enrolls at Constant Magic Academy dreaming of becoming someone who serves society, and quickly befriends Junko Hattori, who shares his desire to do good. Then an official career divination announces the future occupation assigned to him: Demon King.

From that moment on, nearly everything Akuto does, no matter how well intentioned, looks like further proof of the prophecy. Students fear him, Junko's trust collapses, and girls with very different motives begin gathering around his growing power. Akuto refuses to let a prediction define him, yet every attempt to repair his reputation seems to push him closer to the role he is desperately trying to escape.
