Shinzou Ningen Casshern

Dr. Azuma creates advanced robots to help humanity, only for a freak lightning strike to corrupt one of them. The machine renames itself Braiking Boss, rallies other robots behind it, and turns the technology meant to serve people into an army determined to dominate them.

Azuma's son Tetsuya refuses to watch humanity fall because of his father's creation. He gives up his human body to become the nearly indestructible android Casshern and sets out with Luna and the robot dog Friender to fight the mechanical empire. When his parents are captured, the war becomes deeply personal, and Casshern must battle through an enemy force that seems to grow stronger with every victory.
