Nageki no Bourei wa Intai shitai

In the golden age of treasure hunters, Krai Andrey and his childhood friends promise to become the greatest adventurers alive. Krai quickly discovers an unfortunate truth: his companions are terrifyingly gifted, while he has almost none of the talent the profession demands. Somehow, every lucky escape and desperate decision is interpreted by everyone else as proof that he is a brilliant mastermind, causing his reputation to rise whenever he tries to step away.

As leader of the Grieving Souls, Krai is surrounded by people far stronger than he is and burdened with expectations that grow faster than his fear. His only sincere ambition is to retire in peace. Unfortunately, misunderstandings, reckless friends, and impossible missions keep dragging him toward treasure vaults that a man of his actual ability has no business entering.
