Ten years before Card Capital becomes the familiar gathering place it will one day be, the Tokura family's card shop is struggling after young Misaki loses her parents. Shinemon Nitta refuses to watch the place disappear and declares himself its manager, despite having neither the title nor the calm temperament one might expect from the job.
