Zero kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho

Humans fear witches, and both sides distrust the Beastfallen, cursed people born with animal bodies and extraordinary strength. One such mercenary survives by hunting witches while secretly longing to become fully human. Zero is looking for a stolen grimoire bearing her name, a book containing magical knowledge powerful enough to reshape the world in the wrong hands. Joined by the young mage Albus, the unlikely pair crosses a land divided by prejudice and conflict. The mercenary begins to see that witches are not the monsters he imagined, while Zero learns how little she understands about life beyond her secluded home.
