SSSS.Gridman

Yuuta Hibiki awakens in Rikka Takarada's home with no memory of who he is, then hears a voice she cannot hear coming from an old computer in her family's shop. On the screen appears Gridman, who tells Yuuta to remember his mission, while enormous monsters loom through the city's fog without anyone else seeming to notice them. When one of those creatures becomes real and attacks, Yuuta merges with Gridman and transforms into a giant warrior capable of fighting it. He forms the Gridman Alliance with Rikka and Shou Utsumi to uncover why the monsters keep appearing. Yet the strangest part is not simply the attacks: after each disaster, the city seems to forget what happened and rebuild its reality as though the destruction and its victims had never existed at all.
