Akiho Senomiya is determined to fulfill the dream of her school's Robotics Research Club by completing GunPro-1, a full-size giant robot. The club has almost no money and only one other member, Kaito Yashio, who would rather spend his time mastering a fighting game on his PokeCom than help build an impossible machine.

Kaito's indifference cracks when his device leads him to Airi, an artificial intelligence visible through augmented reality, and to a series of hidden Kimijima Reports predicting a global catastrophe. Building a robot and saving the club suddenly become connected to a conspiracy whose technology reaches far beyond anything the students expected to uncover.
