Penetrate Blue

Centuries after humanity lost its war against self-aware machines, the survivors have retreated into vast underground shelters and gradually abandoned hope of ever seeing the open sky again. In 2824, the blind former Security Forces soldier Mikoto Tenshu lives as an outsider, salvaging machinery alongside the engineer Noriko and the humanoid machine Honet-C.

For Mikoto, the blue sky exists only as a story from a vanished world. Honet-C refuses to accept that it must remain a dream and sets out to break through the system that keeps them underground. Their attempt to reach the surface becomes a fight against the machines guarding humanity's prison and a promise that two people will someday stand together beneath real sunlight.
