Hana Nono begins life at a new school determined to become mature, dependable, and far cooler than the clumsy girl she believes herself to be. Her fresh start changes completely when a baby named Hug-tan and a talking hamster called Harry arrive from a future where time itself has been frozen by the Criasu Corporation.

When Criasu begins stealing the energy born from people's hopes, Hana's desire to protect Hug-tan awakens a Future Crystal and transforms her into Cure Yell. Soon Saaya Yakushiji and Homare Kagayaki join her as Precure, and the girls must defend the dreams of the present if they hope to restore a future that has lost its tomorrow.
