Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken

Dai has grown up as the only human on Dermline Island, surrounded by peaceful monsters and dreaming of becoming a great hero. When Princess Leona's visit reveals a glimpse of the power hidden inside him, that childhood dream begins to feel possible.

Peace ends when the resurrected Demon King Hadlar's influence once again turns monsters violent. The legendary hero Avan arrives with his student Popp and begins training Dai, but the return of an old enemy quickly forces the young boy into a real battle. To protect the friends who raised him, Dai must awaken the mysterious strength within him and begin an adventure far greater than anything he imagined.
