Haruka Haruno has dreamed of becoming a princess since childhood, not for a crown, but for the grace and strength the idea represents to her. At the prestigious Noble Academy, a chance reunion with the fairies Pafu and Aroma gives that dream a magical direction when Haruka awakens as Cure Flora.

With Minami Kaidou and Kirara Amanogawa becoming Cure Mermaid and Cure Twinkle, Haruka joins the Princess Precure to defend people's dreams from Dys Dark, whose forces trap hopes inside Gates of Despair. Between school life and battle, the girls pursue their own ambitions while learning that becoming a true princess means continuing to dream even when despair tries to seal that future away.
