Muv-Luv Alternative

For decades, humanity has been losing Earth to the alien BETA. Takeru Shirogane awakens in a devastated version of his hometown carrying memories of a future that ended with a desperate choice: abandon most of humanity and send only a small remnant into space. Somehow he has returned to an earlier point, giving him a chance to prevent that outcome. Takeru joins Yokohama Base, built where his school once stood, and presses Yuuko Kouzuki to accelerate Alternative IV. His knowledge of the future is useful but incomplete. He must master Tactical Surface Fighters, earn the trust of comrades who do not remember him, and change history before it reaches the catastrophe only he knows is coming.
