Myne finally gains access to what she wants more than anything: a library full of books. In exchange for her enormous supply of mana, she enters the temple as a blue-robed apprentice shrine maiden despite being a commoner, but the path to those books places her inside a harsh class system and religious politics whose rules she barely understands. She must manage new attendants, protect people who depend on her, and deal with powerful figures who see her very presence as a threat to the established order. With Ferdinand, her family, and her friends helping her survive, Myne begins to learn that building a world where she can read freely now requires far more than making paper.
