No Game No Life: Zero

Six thousand years before games became the law of Disboard, the world is consumed by a war among powerful races seeking the right to become the One True God. Humanity, unable to use magic and physically weaker than every major faction, survives by hiding among ruins under the leadership of the young Riku.

In an abandoned Elven city, Riku meets Schwi, an Ex-Machina cut off from her collective after developing an obsession with understanding the human heart. Their unlikely bond becomes the foundation of a daring plan: manipulate the far stronger races into ending their own war and create a future in which humanity can finally live without fear.
