Dead Mount Death Play

In another world, a legendary hero's battle against the necromancer known as the Corpse God reaches its climax, only for the sorcerer's final spell to be reincarnation rather than attack. The Corpse God awakens in modern Tokyo inside the body of a boy named Polka Shinoyama, surrounded by technology he barely understands and enemies who already want his new body dead.

Among them is Misaki Sakimiya, an eccentric killer whose relationship with death is anything but normal. With surveillance specialist Takumi Kuruya and underworld fixer Lisa Kuraki soon entering his life, Polka begins carving out a place in secretive Shinjuku. His ambition is almost absurdly modest: he wants a peaceful existence. Unfortunately, the supernatural powers, murders, and conspiracies tied to Polka's identity make peace the most difficult goal he could have chosen.
