Utawarerumono: Itsuwari no Kamen

A nameless man awakens in a snowy wilderness with no memory of who he is or how he arrived there. He is rescued by Kuon, a young traveler with animal ears and a tail, who gives him the name Haku and guides him toward safety in the empire of Yamato.

Haku's sharp mind and unusual background soon draw him into the lives of soldiers, nobles, outcasts, and new companions as he and Kuon make their way to the capital. What begins as a search for a place in an unfamiliar world gradually pulls him into Yamato's political conflicts, approaching war, and mysteries tied to his own forgotten identity.
