Kotaro Tennouji awakens in a strange, moonlit world where countless possibilities surrounding Kazamatsuri and the Key seem to converge. Guided by Kagari, he begins to understand the repeated histories he once lived through and the enormous conflict behind humanity's fate.

His search eventually returns him to an earlier time, before the familiar days at school, when Kotaro's choices placed him between the occult organizations Gaia and Guardian. With the future of the planet hanging on those choices, he must confront the roots of the tragedy and seek a path that neither destroys humanity nor condemns the world itself.
