Gintama'

After a year away, Shinpachi returns to Edo expecting the Yorozuya to be exactly as he left them. Instead, Gintoki, Kagura, and nearly everyone he knows seem to have undergone absurd transformations, while only a few people remember how things used to be. Untangling that bizarre time-skip is merely the beginning of the trio's return to business.

The Yorozuya soon bounce between ridiculous jobs and conflicts with much heavier consequences. Their path draws them into a struggle for the future of Kabukicho, an invasion involving the mysterious Renho, and a bitter confrontation within the Shinsengumi. Through every parody, disaster, and battle, Gintoki's determination to protect the people and places he treasures remains unchanged.
