Gintama': Enchousen

Gintoki returns to the Yorozuya only to discover something impossible: everyone in Edo remembers a golden-haired man named Kintoki as the beloved hero who has always stood in his place. With even Shinpachi and Kagura unable to recognize him, Gintoki must fight for more than his job; he has to prove that his entire existence has not been erased.

Once that absurd identity crisis is settled, the Yorozuya are drawn back to Yoshiwara by an elderly courtesan named Suzuran and a promise she has carried for decades. Her search for the man she loved leads Gintoki into the heart of the shogunate, where old loyalties, the shadow of Oboro, and memories of a harsher era turn a simple reunion into a battle over promises that survived longer than the people who made them.
