When the sealed Phantom Empire is unleashed from the mysterious Axia box, its forces begin invading kingdoms around the world. Precure warriors rise to oppose them, but Hime Shirayuki, princess of the fallen Blue Sky Kingdom, struggles with fear and repeated defeats as Cure Princess.

Searching for a partner, Hime meets the endlessly cheerful Megumi Aino.
