Fairy Gone

Fairies were once literal weapons in a long war. By transplanting organs from fairy-possessed animals into humans, nations created "Fairy Soldiers" capable of summoning supernatural power in battle. The war ended, but the soldiers it produced did not disappear. Some entered government service, others joined organized crime, and some carried old wounds into terrorism and revenge.

Nine years later, Maria Noel joins Dorothea, an organization tasked with investigating fairy-related crimes. Her work leads through former soldiers, artifacts, black markets, and political conflicts still nourished by the war, while also drawing her back toward Veronica, the childhood friend who chose a different path. In a country that declared peace before making peace with its past, Maria searches for a form of justice that will not simply become the reason for another war.
