World Trigger

Years after a gate opened in Mikado City and beings called Neighbors began attacking Earth, the organization Border protects the city with special weapons known as Triggers. Osamu Mikumo is a trainee who lacks the raw power of Border's strongest agents. When new student Yuuma Kuga is attacked, Osamu breaks the rules to protect him, only to watch Yuuma defeat the Neighbors with ease. The reason is startling: Yuuma is a humanoid Neighbor himself. Instead of becoming enemies, the two begin an unlikely partnership that forces Osamu to question the simple picture of the Neighbor world he was taught inside Border.
