Kyokou Suiri

Since the age of eleven, Kotoko Iwanaga has served as a mediator between humans and youkai after the spirits chose her as their “Goddess of Wisdom,” a role that cost her right eye and left leg. Years later she meets Kurou Sakuragawa, a young man whom even supernatural beings fear because of a strange secret within his body. Kotoko sees him as the ideal partner for her cases, while making no effort to hide her romantic interest in him. When rumors spread about the ghost of a dead idol carrying a steel beam, brute force proves useless because the apparition is sustained by stories people believe online. Kotoko therefore fights fiction with fiction, constructing explanations persuasive enough to alter the very reality created by collective belief.
