Kyoukai no Kanata

Mirai Kuriyama belongs to a cursed clan of Spirit World Warriors who can shape their own blood into weapons. Burdened by guilt and uncertain of her ability to hunt youmu, she meets Akihito Kanbara, a cheerful student who happens to be an immortal half-youmu. Her attempt to kill him fails spectacularly, beginning an unusual friendship.

Through Akihito and the Nase siblings, Mirai slowly finds a place where she is no longer alone. But the supernatural disturbances around them intensify, and Akihito's hidden nature is tied to a threat far more dangerous than the creatures Mirai has hunted before. Their growing bond is tested as the boundary between human and youmu begins to break down.
