Lupin III: Cagliostro no Shiro

After a casino robbery, Lupin III discovers that his entire haul consists of near-perfect counterfeit money known as Gothic Bills. The trail leads him and Daisuke Jigen to the tiny European state of Cagliostro, where they rescue a young bride-to-be from armed pursuers. She is Clarisse, heir to the principality, and the ruthless Count Cagliostro intends to force her into marriage.

Lupin recognizes both Clarisse and the castle from an adventure in his youth, giving him more than one reason to interfere. As Goemon, Fujiko, and Inspector Zenigata converge on the fortress, the rescue becomes entangled with a vast counterfeiting operation and a centuries-old secret hidden beneath Cagliostro. Lupin will need every trick he has to free Clarisse and expose the truth before the count seals his plans with a wedding.
