Majo no Tabitabi

Elaina grows up reading the adventures of the witch Nike and imagining the day she can see the world in the same way. After overcoming the difficulty of finding a teacher and earning the title of the Ashen Witch, she finally sets out alone from country to country. Her journey has no single mission and no final enemy waiting at its end. Every place brings different people, laws, and forms of magic, and the story she encounters may be delightful, absurd, or cruel enough that she cannot simply fix it. Elaina is not a hero who intervenes in every tragedy, but a traveler who sees, learns, and eventually moves on. Through beautiful cities and unsettling lands, the adventures she once read as a child become new pages written from her own life.
