Sore Ike! Anpanman

Deep in a forest bakery, the Star of Life falls into a batch of anpan dough and gives birth to Anpanman, a hero with a bean-jam bun for a head and an instinctive desire to help anyone in need. When someone is hungry, he will even offer part of his own face before returning to Jam Ojisan for a fresh one.

His greatest nuisance is Baikinman, a troublemaking germ who is forever inventing new schemes to upset the peace. With friends at his side and compassion as his greatest strength, Anpanman travels wherever help is needed, proving again and again that kindness can be every bit as powerful as a punch.
