Nippon Sangoku

After modern civilization collapses, Japan fractures into three rival states: Yamato, Buo, and Seii. In a society that has fallen back toward a Meiji-like level of life, fifteen-year-old literature enthusiast Aoteru Misumi carries an impossible dream: reunify the country and restore the knowledge and culture that were lost.

A personal tragedy finally forces Aoteru to turn theory into action and head for Osaka, where he meets Yoshitsune Asama, a gifted swordsman with the same ambition. While Yoshitsune has the blade, Aoteru fights with history, rhetoric, and strategy. Starting from the bottom of a dangerous city, the two begin a campaign that could redraw the map of Japan.
