Bounty hunter Chateau Dankworth's life becomes complicated when the notorious Song Ryang-ha defeats her during a job and, instead of finishing her off, asks for her contact details. He follows with persistent calls and bizarre 'gifts,' including wanted targets he has captured before she can reach them. Chateau regards him as a danger she cannot trust, and matters worsen when her agency accepts a job with Ryang-ha himself as the target. Even so, his warnings repeatedly keep her alive. As people from his violent past begin closing in, gaps in Chateau's childhood and questions surrounding the name Ryang-ha uses start surfacing as well. Walking away from him would be safer, but it might also take the truth with him.
