Anon Chihaya transfers into Haneoka Girls' Academy and quickly decides that forming a band is the easiest way to fit in. Her first promising recruit is Tomori Takamatsu, a shy girl whose hesitation is tied to the painful collapse of her former band, CRYCHIC.

Trying to build something new brings Anon into contact with former CRYCHIC members Taki Shiina and Soyo Nagasaki, as well as the guarded guitarist Raana Kaname. Old wounds, conflicting motives, and an obsession with recreating what was lost threaten the new group before it can even find its name. To stay together, the girls must stop pretending that music can erase the past and learn how to face one another honestly.
