Synopsis

Three years after Yamato's return from Iscandar, Earth has rebuilt with astonishing speed and forged peace with Gamilas. Yet that recovery rests on an expanding military powered by Wave Motion technology, a path that troubles many of Yamato's former crew.

When Kodai and the others begin receiving a mysterious call from Teresa of the distant planet Telezart, they learn of the advancing Gatlantis Empire and its devastating power. Defying orders, the old crew reunites aboard Yamato and sets out once more, caught between Earth's new ambitions and a threat capable of consuming entire civilizations.
