Saiyuuki Reload: Zeroin

The Sanzo party is used to being attacked by youkai, so human assailants with golden eyes leave them genuinely puzzled. The mystery leads them to a western priest named Hazel Grouse and his bodyguard, Gaty Nene Hawk. Hazel possesses what appears to be a miracle: he can bring the dead back to life, and grieving villages welcome him as a savior. The resurrected return with the same golden eyes, however, and the miracle is eventually revealed to demand a price paid with youkai souls. Hazel's hatred of youkai places him directly against Goku, Gojyo, and Hakkai, while his motives become entangled with Sanzo's past and secrets not obvious at first meeting. What looks like salvation becomes a question of whether one life can ever be restored by sacrificing another.
