Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo

In 2019, a rift opens over Japan and connects it to Shinkoku Nippon, a parallel nation that never abandoned the militarism of the Showa era. Its forces invade with giant machines and a strange weapon that renders modern technology useless, conquering the country and suppressing the culture they consider corrupt. Years later, anime, manga, games, and idols survive only in hidden corners of Akihabara. Hosomichi Kudou, a young man buried in debt, is dragged into Arahabaki, a resistance movement fighting with giant robots powered by the passion of devoted fans. To oppose an empire that wants to erase what people love, Hosomichi must somehow work with three wildly different girls whose enthusiasm is literally the energy keeping their rebellion alive.
