Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha: The Movie 1st

Nanoha Takamachi is an ordinary elementary-school girl until she rescues an injured ferret who is actually Yuuno Scrya, a mage from another world. Twenty-one dangerous Jewel Seeds have scattered across Earth, and Yuuno entrusts Nanoha with the intelligent Device Raising Heart so she can help seal them before their unstable power causes catastrophe.

Nanoha soon discovers that she is not the only mage searching for the seeds. Fate Testarossa pursues them with relentless desperation on behalf of her mother, placing the two girls on opposite sides of repeated magical battles. Yet Nanoha senses loneliness behind Fate's hostility and becomes determined not merely to defeat her, but to understand the heart she keeps hidden.
