Toumei na Yoru ni Kakeru Kimi to, Me ni Mienai Koi wo Shita.

On an April night in Tokyo, university student Kakeru Sorano meets Koharu Fuyutsuki. She is warm, sociable, and quick to laugh, the opposite of Kakeru, who has grown comfortable keeping his distance from people. He soon learns something he did not understand when they first met: Koharu is blind.

She refuses to treat that as a reason to stop living. Koharu attends university, makes friends, tries new things, and carries a dream Kakeru initially cannot understand, to set off fireworks someday. At first he wonders what such a dream means if she cannot see them, then begins realizing that the value of an experience is not always decided by sight. Beside her, he also finds a reason to step out of the distance he created between himself and life.
