Akari Akaza begins middle school excited to reunite with her childhood friends Kyouko Toshinou and Yui Funami, only to discover that they have occupied the former Tea Club room and created the Amusement Club, an organization with no real purpose beyond spending time however they please. Chinatsu Yoshikawa joins after arriving in search of the old Tea Club, and the room quickly becomes the center of days filled with tea, games, arguments, and crushes that almost never go the way their owners expect. Akari tries to maintain some presence among friends with personalities far louder than hers, but even her strange tendency to disappear from everyone’s attention becomes part of the club’s everyday rhythm.
